Publicity Campaign: DeepFaith - ‘Y&I’

DeepFaith drop their latest single ‘Y&I’ (pronounced You and I) straight off the back of their monumental CHURCH club night at Berlin Art Week, where they shared the stage with icons like Peaches, Fischerspooner, and a surprise cameo from RHOBH alum Lisa Rinna. Out September 19, ‘Y&I’ showcases the pop-op-erratic vision of acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Byron Spencer and Danial Stricker of Midnight Juggernauts, whose creative partnership forms the beating heart of DeepFaith. The track is an emotional odyssey, channelling Byron’s angelic and raw yearnings into a baroque, club-ready anthem that invites you to both dance and dissolve into feeling.

Byron Spencer is renowned for breaking boundaries. His saturated colour palettes, surreal energy, and cinematic emotion have made his work a fixture in i-D, Rolling Stone, 10 Magazine, and Interview, and seen him collaborate with icons like Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Troye Sivan, and Julia Fox. Byron’s creative world is immersive and maximalist, his installations and live experiences are as emotionally charged as they are visually electric. This September, he presented a major two-part installation at Berlin Art Week 2025, transforming Studio 1111 into a multi-sensory, overstimulating gallery-cinema hybrid. Created in collaboration with 10 Magazine, the experience features never-before-seen works, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, and new collaborations with Sega Bodega, Mykki Blanco, Paris Hilton, and more. Later that night, Studio 1111 morphed into CHURCH, a euphoric, genre-bending rave party and the launch of DeepFaith’s new international event series.

‘Y&I’ was written and recorded across Bergen, Norway, with pop genius Matias Téllez (Girl In Red, Aurora, Sabrina Carpenter), as well as Paris and Sydney. The track echoes heartbreak, coming-of-age, and community, all filtered through the surreal lens of the internet and crystal-polished into a diamond. Collaborators include John Carroll Kirby, Tony Buchan, Kirin J Callinan, Heli Newton, Isabella Manfredi, and a community choir, woven together in a sonic tapestry that’s as universal as it is deeply personal. DeepFaith’s creative process is nothing short of a global pilgrimage, with sessions in churches, snow-covered landscapes, the deep depths of the AI cosmos, and Grammy-winning studios. The result? A genre-defying sound that fuses Hollywood musicals, rave, classical, opera, and AI clickbait, all anchored by a love of melody and pop hooks. The single lands with a music video crafted by DeepFaith’s own circle of friends, family, and chosen community. “It’s community. It’s the world. It’s finding your people even when things feel or are shit in the church of the night.

DeepFaith is HolographicEuphoric, high-dramatic, emotional, turbo, harmonic, and pop-op-erratic – with much, much more on the way.
