Publicity Campaign: Shitzulover07 - ‘PARTY MONSTER’ EP

Shitzulover07 turns the lights down and the bass up with new EP ‘PARTY MONSTER’. The seven-track dance-pop project is built for sweat, glitter, and the messy honesty that hits after midnight.

The Eora-based artist’s shortest release tracklist-wise is also her most intentional. Where previous projects leaned more collage than plan, ‘PARTY MONSTER’ lands with a clear thought process and storyline, and her cleanest sonics yet as she continues developing her self-producing and sound-engineering skills.

Shitzulover07 describes the EP as “honest thoughts and feelings from an early 20s person, wrapped under sparkly silver wrapping and a black bow.” It is a record that plays like pure fun on first listen, then shows its teeth when you sit with the lyrics, moving through anger, manicness, euphoria, love and sex without sanding down the edges.

Sonic inspiration comes from a wider net than her last releases, with classic Gaga, Natalia Kills and Rihanna influences overtly present, alongside more pulled-back and rhythmic touchpoints drawn from personal favourites ABRA and Cece Natalie. Across the tracklist, the production shifts per song like a night out that refuses to stay in one lane, with moments leaning into electronic trap essence, experimental textures, and high-energy dance-pop.

The EP follows recent singles ‘FETISH’ and ‘REPLAY’, two different doors into the same world. ‘FETISH’ is a raunchy classic Shitzu track with a prominent bassline and 2010s-inspired chord build, pairing effortless spoken-leaning verses with a heavier emotional chorus that “displays the desperation of wanting to please and be seen as sexy no matter the cost.” ‘REPLAY’ hits a brighter, glossy rush, blending late 2000s and early 2010s pop energy with a darker edge underneath, made for car speakers, house parties, and the kind of obsession you only admit to once the night gets loud enough.

While ‘PARTY MONSTER’ is primarily solo work, Shitzulover07 brought in two collaborators to put the finishing touches on the final tracklist. ‘FETISH’ is produced by and written with her best friend and long-time collaborator Solar Angel, while ‘DO IT LIKE THAT (BAD)’ is co-produced with and mastered by first-time collaborator Bren.

“I adore creating music & am excited to share this project especially because it’s the clearest I’ve ever been with my feelings/emotions during the writing process,” she says. “I hope this project shows an interesting side to Shitzu that you wouldn't have fully expected to see so present.”

TRACK BY TRACK

  1. FETISH - A classic Shitzulover07 cut driven by a prominent bassline and a 2010s-inspired chord build. Effortless, almost spoken verses snap against a heavy emotional chorus, letting the desperation show through the confidence. It is pleasure-forward pop with a bruise underneath, chasing validation and sexiness no matter the cost.

  2. ONE THING - One of the most sonically experimental tracks on the EP, ‘ONE THING’ blends high-energy electronic dance-pop with pulled-back ambient textures that keep shifting under your feet. Inspired by ABRA and Gaga, with pop bite in the writing, it flips a typically male-dominated storyline into Shitzu’s voice. The message is blunt and unapologetic: she wants pleasure, sex, and fun, and she is not dressing it up.

  3. PEEP SHOW - Darker, louder, and fuller, ‘PEEP SHOW’ leans into club pressure and a Snow Stripper-inspired edge. The lyricism is sharply visual, capturing the strange intimacy of being on display by choice, even in private. It plays like a neon-lit bedroom scene where fantasy and control blur, and the camera never really turns off.

  4. REPLAY - ‘REPLAY’ brings a more modern palette to Shitzulover07’s world, pulling from artists like Bassvictim, Underscores, and Frost Children while keeping her pop instincts front and centre. It is glossy on the surface, with a restless energy that suits an on-and-off relationship you cannot quit. Told from the perspective of the “problem”, it leans into the thrill and the self-awareness at the same time.

  5. DO IT LIKE THAT (BAD) - The most pulled-back moment on the EP, ‘DO IT LIKE THAT (BAD)’ trades impact for atmosphere, landing in a softer, dreamy space that Shitzu rarely sits in. Inspired by Gaga’s ‘Artpop’ and ‘Sexxx Dreams’, it uses sexual innuendo as a cover for something more complicated. Underneath the sweetness is people-pleasing, second-guessing, and the ache of chasing what-ifs.

  6. EXTENSIONS - ‘EXTENSIONS’ kicks the energy back up with bass-heavy electronic dance-pop built for late-night momentum. Lyrically, it paints a vivid picture of a sexual encounter where temptation wins and the red flags get ignored on purpose. It is reckless in a controlled way, the kind of track that knows exactly what it is doing.

  7. EDIBLE BIRTHDAY CAKE - A trap-pop sugar hit inspired by the birthday-themed canon of 2010s pop girls, ‘EDIBLE BIRTHDAY CAKE’ is playful, loud, and a little unhinged in the best way. Originally released on Shitzulover07’s birthday, it marked the start of the ‘PARTY MONSTER’ era. It sets the tone for the EP’s world: indulgent, explicit, and built to celebrate even when it is messy.
