Melbourne-based artist Mo•Louie demonstrates her versatility as both a singer and producer by combining her powerful yet vulnerable vocals merged with a lush electronic soundscape. 

This is demonstrated on her self-produced and mixed single ‘Body’ which was released in 2021 after a plethora of success. The single propelled the artist to new levels by featuring on stellar publications such as UK’s Polyesterzine, Acid Stag, Women in Pop, Amnplify and many more. 

Mo recently completed a Bachelor of Music Production at Australian College of the Arts (Collarts) and is already making her production and engineering mark by being shortlisted in the Best Producer category for the 2021 Music Victoria Awards alongside reputable producers Alice Ivy, Anna Laverty, Tash Sultana & Becki Whitton to name a few. Her credits include mixing engineer for LOUV’s remix of Negative Space by Aphir and vocal engineering/production for artists Your Girl Pho, Dirty Versachi, LION X and LOUV. To add to this, Mo was also the feature vocalist for Dirty Versachi’s latest single ‘Permission’, which was featured in Milky and Metal Magazine. 

On the performance side punters have witnessed Mo’s powerful and engaging performance over the years including Peel Street Festival and Archer Magazine launch among others during 2019 and 2020. In conjunction with this, her new co-produced event project 'Fem Fantasy' is rapidly gaining traction and aimed to support gender diverse electronic artists. Fem Fantasy curated a sold-out show at Midsumma Festival 2020 at Common Rooms, where Mo performed alongside artists The Merindas, Lupa J and many more. Fem Fantasy’s March 2021 show at Loop Bar sold out in under 24 hours, propelling the team to put on a second show 2 weeks later that also sold out. To end the year Mo headlined the Fem Fantasy event ‘Hot Fem Summer’ at Melbourne Music Week which was Purple Sneakers Hot Picks and Beat Magazine must see.
