Emerging from Naarm’s vibrant creative community, Suzana Poljak unveils her new single, 'Upside Down Standing On The Ceiling', a track that merges fantasy, introspection, and the surreal. Released via Wild At Heart Records, this song offers a glimpse into Suzana’s debut 10-track album, 'There’s No Freedom With Fear', produced by Sean Conran (Obscura Hail).

Suzana’s music is a tapestry of personal myth, poetic storytelling, and imaginative soundscapes. 'Upside Down Standing On The Ceiling' began as a self-portrait digital collage, later transformed into a song that captures the topsy-turvy logic of dreams and the emotional complexity of her journey. The track is influenced by fairytales, old world circuses, and the magical veneer of early 2000s alternative indie pop, blending whimsical elements with honest reflection.

Suzana describes the sound as unique and mysterious, drawing on surreal influences like 'The Labyrinth', ‘Escher’, and ‘Alice In Wonderland’. The song’s production is guided by Sean Conran, whose mentorship brought clarity and a professional edge to the project. The album 'There’s No Freedom With Fear' is a collection of songs inspired by Suzana’s own poetry, artworks, and personal history.
